Mrs. Jenkins became interested in the Africa University from its inception in 1988, and followed the development of the university over the years. Her interest grew when the late Bishop LeontineT. C. Kelly was assigned to the San Francisco Episcopal Area. Bishop Kelly was an ardent supporter of Africa University.

Africa University recognizes with profound gratitude the generosity of the late Mrs. Jenkins for including the university in her estate plans.
